Opening Hours
- We are open between 8.30am – 6.00pm
Appointments
- Please phone 0141 334 6111. There are appointments you can book in advance, appointments that are offered on a 48hr basis and on the day appointments.
- For 48hr appointments and on the day appointments you should phone at 8.30am
- We also offer telephone consultations every day
- If it is an emergency you can speak to a GP who will arrange an appointment if necessary
House Calls
- If possible please phone before 10am if you wish to arrange a home visit
- Home visits are normally only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability
Change of Address
- Please inform the Surgery as soon as possible if you change your address
- You can fill out a form via this website or phone 0141 334 6111
Cancelled Appointments
- If you have to cancel your appointment, please do so as soon as possible to allow another patient to be given the appointment
If you are late
- Please note if you are between 6 and 14 minutes late for your appointment you maybe seen at the end of the Doctors surgery or sooner if a gap arises. If you arrive later than 15 mins after the start of your appointment you will be asked to re-arrange
Interpreter
- If you require an interpreter please inform the receptionist when you book your appointment
Private Medical Examinations
- These are only done by special arrangement with the GP and there is a fee payable
Letters/Completion of Forms etc
- Please allow at least one week for completion of forms
- There may be a fee payable
- It is advisable you phone first to find out if your letter/form is ready to be collected

- Child Health Surveillance (with the Health Visiting Team)
- Contraceptive Services
- Maternity Services
- Routine Immunisation of children, together with the Health Visitors
- Travel Advice and Immunisations (not all immunisations are available on the NHS, the Practice Nurse will discuss this with you)
- Cervical Smears
- Flu Immunisations
- Annual comprehensive review for patients with certain chronic conditions including heart disease, strokes, epilepsy, asthma, COPD etc
- Diabetic Clinic, which includes dietitian and podiatrist
Repeat Prescriptions
- Practice policy is that prescriptions will be available less than 48 hours after ordering
- You can order your prescription by phoning 0141 334 6896 this line is available 24 hours a day seven days a week
- Fax it to 0141 339 1711, in writing at reception desk, by post, or via on line (forms can be obtained from reception to register for this service)
You can collect your prescription from one of the chemists closer to us:
- Boots Pharmacy 1278 Argyle Street (round corner from surgery)
- Apple Pharmacy 1094 Argyle Street (approx 200 yards surgery)
- LG Pharmacy 66 St. Vincent Terrace
- or it can be posted to you if you supply a SAE.
Results of Tests
- Please phone the Surgery between 2pm and 5pm to get your test results
Travel Advice and Vaccinations
- Please phone and arrange a telephone consultation with the Practice Nurse for travel advice
- If immunisations are required she will arrange an appointment for you to come in
Registering with Us
- Please collect forms at reception
- An appointment cannot be made until the forms are filled out and the appropriate documentation has been received
- If registering from abroad, identification and proof of work/residency required
- Please note: you can only register if you live in the postcode areas G3, G11 or G12
Parking
- There is metered parking on Radnor Street and surrounding roads
- The meter requires 20p for half an hour and 10p per 10 minutes thereafter
- There is one disabled parking bay outside the surgery
Practice Announcements
- Updated as required e.g. the practice will be closed on Friday 14 April and Monday 17 April for Easter Holidays, we will re-open on Tuesday 15 April. In an emergency please phone 334 6111 and you will be connected to NHS 24.
